Official Yuunagi Loop Page Up
Right at the end of September, Victor Entertainment posted a
Yuunagi Loop page
on Maaya's official site. I was thinking they might upload the page in October after checking her site almost
every day last month, but they managed to get it done before feeling the wrath of Maaya fans worldwide.
There's lots of goodies for all you patient Maaya fans to peruse, including the track list, sample audio clips (in both
Real and Windows Media formats), liner notes, diary and pictures from the video shoot of her latest PV (promotional video).
The PV is for the second track, "Honey Come" which will be on the bonus cd-rom included with the Limited Edition
of the album. Other fansites have posted that the PV for "Loop" will also be included on the cd-rom.
Thanks to fellow Maaya fan D.J. Wilsey and some other folks on the net, here's a translation / transliteration of the
Yuunagi Loop track list.
- Hello
- Honey Come
- Loop
- Wakaba
- Paprika
- My Favorite Books
- Tsuki to hashiri-nagara
- NO FEAR / ai suru koto
- Unison
- Fuyu desu ka
- Yuunagi LOOP
- a happy ending
And I have to also give huge thanks to my buddy HPMMB (who has helped out countless times before) who did a really quick
translation of the text on the
video shoot page.
The notes were actually written by the video production staff.
"This time, it's a video clip packed with what a girl in love, whose heart is throbbing, is feeling. When she was speaking to and
having tea with Heart-kun (<--Try looking for him in the PV), she became too happy, jumped up, and flew directly into space just like that (laugh).
It was all shot inside a studio. Even when just indoors, you do a lot of things. They will all be combined with all kinds of CG so the
Maaya Sakamoto moves around in the world of imagination while receiving this-and-that instructions from the director.
Lying on her stomach on top of a platform, spreading her arms as though she's flying. Repeating jumps off from a chair. After that, she
sprinted on a treadmill. She enjoyed herself quite a bit by doing things or being in positions she's never done before.
She has to play a cutesy little girl so she's been bashful the entire time. While filming, the volume size of the skirt kept getting bigger
so the cuteness kept getting compounded. As though adding insult to injury, the director demanded, 'Feel as though you're a little
more embarrassed,' or, 'more bashful.' In the end, she was teased with, 'You're cute,' and that put her in a slightly foul mood (laugh).
And so, it was a physically demanding film shoot but filming with Heart-kun put me in a state of happiness. Please enjoy the video
clip with the attractive, cute qualities you've never seen of her before.
(This [Honey Come] video clip will be included with the 'Yuunagi Loop' album's first print edition as a bonus."
